REALLY? It's December 1st all ready! Wow can't believe the year is over (I say that every year). There's still time!! There's a lot of gifts to wrap so hop on over to my Etsy shop where there's still time to order wrapping paper. The deadline for ordering gift wrap is coming up soon!
On another note, I'm really excited that this website of mine is going to be THE place where I will showcase my entire product line. I'm slowly :( working on making that happen. For instance, I've now placed all of my prints on my website and you can order any size, including minis (for now wrapping paper is available on Etsy). I plan on having this completed by January and looking forward to making this website beautiful, with amazing products, and all MINE! And as always, I'll continue to broaden my product line to include amazing things that will fit into my market (all ready working on some new note cards).
Busy, busy month and still haven't finished my Christmas shopping. Gotta run! Until next time, Shann
Sending warm wishes this Thanksgiving to friends, family, and supporters! I'm forever grateful for all of you just so you know :)
I am so grateful for my artwork that keeps me excited every day, and constantly inspires me to put something down on paper (or canvas).
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and be thankful for all that you have!
As my garden pots start showing fall colors, it must really be time to bid farewell to summer! A great summer it was- there were lots of AMAZING sunsets over the water, lots of warm weather, and lots of driving around in my car.
I have been busy with my art studio too- this week the insulation is due to go in. I've completed the sourcing for almost all the finishes. How is it that what I need in the way of furniture for the studio though, always seems to be hard to find! A round decorative, good-looking table with casters? A hanging system for my artwork that won't take up a lot of floor space and that is attractive? A sconce light that doesn't extend 10 inches out for the stairway? Slowly making progress on finding the exact solutions to these and other issues- well probably not exact solutions, but as close to perfect as I can get. As my husband correctly stated at the onset of my studio construction- you will have to make a million decisions! It may sound easy- not so much. But very very happy with what I have.
Have also completed several works in a new technique which I love. Autumn is always a fairly productive time for me. Maybe won't say too much though or I'll jinx it....

Hope to post pictures of the studio soon.
Until next time, Shann
