As my garden pots start showing fall colors, it must really be time to bid farewell to summer! A great summer it was- there were lots of AMAZING sunsets over the water, lots of warm weather, and lots of driving around in my car. I have been busy with my art studio too- this week the insulation is due to go in. I've completed the sourcing for almost all the finishes. How is it that what I need in the way of furniture for the studio though, always seems to be hard to find! A round decorative, good-looking table with casters? A hanging system for my artwork that won't take up a lot of floor space and that is attractive? A sconce light that doesn't extend 10 inches out for the stairway? Slowly making progress on finding the exact solutions to these and other issues- well probably not exact solutions, but as close to perfect as I can get. As my husband correctly stated at the onset of my studio construction- you will have to make a million decisions! It may sound easy- not so much. But very very happy with what I have. Have also completed several works in a new technique which I love. Autumn is always a fairly productive time for me. Maybe won't say too much though or I'll jinx it.... Peonies original painting Hope to post pictures of the studio soon.
Until next time, Shann
