A playful and colorful illustration of pool life. I painted this piece with watercolor and markers on canvas. I absolutely love drawing and illustrating! I love not using a tool such as a paintbrush. Just laying down the color directly, with the medium itself. It is difficult because you can't make a mistake! You can't just repaint it or paint over it. Therein lies the challenge and the beauty.
The weather is getting warmer and warmer. Summer is just around the corner. Ahhh, summer swimming is the best, whichever water you are nearest to and happen to dive into. It was hard to photograph this piece- the colors are much brighter in person. Thanks for stopping by!
