About me

My name is Shann Spishak. I have been painting my whole life and hold degrees in studio art and interior design.  All of my work is hand painted and sketched- no digital. Decor, furniture, and interiors, have remained my inspiration for over 15 years. Working as a painter on canvas or paper is a beautiful process for me- it's never about the finished product.  When I start a painting I have a basic idea of what I want, but the beauty to me, is in the process of putting it all together to my satisfaction. To me, it is like a puzzle- find the missing pieces that will make the art sing! And it often ends up different than the original idea- the painting can have a mind of its own and I've learned- just go with it.
