The Camano Island Studio Tour is now official. The brochure is being proofed and readied for the printers, the marketing campaign has begun, and artists are getting ready, once again, to host visitors to their work spaces and studios. Last year was the first year the tour has been canceled in 22 years, due to the pandemic; how we are looking forward to seeing everyone again! I have to say, I am continually amazed at the quality of work, within our smallish group of island artists. I'm so proud to play a part in this creative community!!
This is always the second busiest time of year for me after the Christmas season. I'm finishing up paintings, framing paintings, mounting paintings, and working on getting my prints and note cards printed up for the tour. And I do all of my own printing! Wow- it's a lot to do! Here's a sneak peek at a few of the paintings in my studio, that will be going up for the show.
