As I'm writing this, it's the first weekend of spring- Happy Spring! But no one would guess it, looking out our window. Wind, grey skies, 30 mile gusts, and a lot of rain, possible flooding, and dangerous avalanche conditions in the mountains. But like life itself, things can change overnight. Soon we'll wake up to lots of sunshine and warm lazy days...ahhhh. Not as warm as say California, but I'll take what I can get!
Small and sweet new paintings! I call these paint sketches. Quick studies of color and shape, painted loose and gestural. These were painted on watercolor paper- this cool paper I discovered that has 4 deckled edges, and is thick enough for lots of paint. Also have been working on two large paintings that will hopefully be finished in April. Thanks for visiting, until next time.
